About Morley, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located on the Little Muskegon River, Morley is a picturesque community with only about 500 residents. This village is part of Deerfield Township in Mecosta County, and it is found about 20 miles south of Big Rapids. The community is served by Morley Stanwood Community Schools, including Morley Stanwood High School. The Mecosta Osceola Transit Authority provides transportation services to residents, offering bus service between Morley and nearby cities.

Despite the small size of Morley, there are a few popular places to visit here. Heavenly Vineyards is a great destination for wine enthusiasts, and it is also a popular event venue. There are several restaurants located here, including Moe-Z-Inn, Raals by the Trails Café, Corner Café, and Morley Pizza Depot. The Stilson Family Farm is a great place to get a Christmas tree during the holiday season, and other shopping destinations include Jane’s Country Meats and Wee Bee’s Party Store.

Morley is located to the east of Lake Michigan, and during the summer months, this can lead to high humidity as well as very warm temperatures. Due to these conditions, Morley residents should consider the many benefits of a central air conditioning system at home. When compared to window air conditioning systems, central A/C offers improved comfort, cooling all rooms in a home at once, and a well-maintained central A/C can also lead to increased property value.

Weather conditions can be dangerous during the winter months. Temperatures plummet, and by January, average daily highs barely reach into the 30s. To make situations even more troublesome, the region receives considerable snowfall, some of which is due to the lake effect. Driving conditions can be treacherous, and residents are encouraged to stay indoors during inclement weather. Gas or electric furnace systems should be properly maintained to ensure they work efficiently throughout the season.
